A Healthy Luxury. Warmup Floor Heating Now Recommended by Asthma Foundation

(PRWEB) November 26, 2009

Warmup in New Zealand has recently undertaken a partnership with the Asthma & Respiratory Foundation. The organisation is committed to finding new solutions for people with these conditions and have identified floor heating as one of the viable options. Warmup® Underfloor Heating is the foundation’s sole recommendation for the undertile and undercarpet heating category. Thanks to its radiant heating patterns, underfloor heating reduces the circulation of airborne allergens like dust which could trigger health problems such as asthma.

Apart from being better for your health a clever way to add luxury to your floors is the addition of floor heating. After all, the only thing better than a gorgeous floor is a warm, gorgeous floor. Particularly in colder climates where winters are a lengthy half-year affair, underfloor heating will enable you to enjoy those beautiful tiles for longer.

Award-winning Warmup® electric underfloor heating is available in both loose cable and mat forms to suit different projects. A large or regular-shaped area can be quickly covered with a mat while a smaller room with units could benefit from the additional flexibility offered by the loose wire. Room size is not a problem as Warmup offers a full range of safety-approved systems to cover areas from 0.5m² upwards.

Warmup® underfloor heating boasts a host of advantages from more comfortable warmth to greater interior design freedom.

Spanning the entire floor means that underfloor heating is very effective for keeping floors dry, especially ideal for busy bathrooms. The radiant heating method of heating also eliminates draughts typically associated with conventional radiators. This in turn reduces airborne allergens such as dust, making the home environment healthier.

With Warmup, the underfloor heating is operated in zones by separate thermostats. This individualistic control allows for usage tailored to your lifestyle and improves heating efficiency. Lower wastage translates simply into greater cost and energy savings.

For all the benefits, Warmup® underfloor heating is highly affordable, both to install and to run. Prices begin at less than 0 including the heater, programmable thermostat and VAT, while running costs are also very low. There are also no maintenance costs involved.

If you would like to find out more about installing electric floor heating in your home, simply call Warmup on 0845 345 2288 or visit www.warmup.com to chat with a live consultant. New Under Carpet or Rug Heated Floor Systems Warm and Dry Wet Floors

Heated floor system installation sm

Cleveland, OH (PRWEB) September 10, 2007

Martinson-Nicholls new Speed Heat and Electric Danfoss Heated Floor Systems are designed to go under carpet or floor matting to warm floors and dry tracked-in moisture. Using only 12 watts per square foot, the heated floor systems produce an economical, warmer environment.

The new Speed Heat and Danfoss Floor Heating Systems are designed to put heat where needed under carpets, area rugs, floor matting and other flooring materials. Eliminating the need for space heaters, these systems provide efficient radiant heat while also drying moisture tracked in at door entrances.

“After installing it here, our staff no longer complained of cold floors, and we were able to turn down our thermostat and still stay warm,” according to company president Dan Ruminski.

Ideal for cold concrete slab buildings where conventional heating systems do nothing to warm the cold floor, the Martinson-Nicholls floor heating system can be covered with Waterhog matting that is both attractive and durable. Using the new heated floor system and Waterhog, 25 degree Fahrenheit temperature increases on the mat surface have been achieved. Available in ten colors with various patterns, the Waterhog matting is an ideal match to the heated system, matching any decor.

For new commercial and residential construction, the heated floor system can be built-in without having a cord exposed. The system can also be installed in existing carpet and floor systems, except under glue-down carpets. The radiant heating can also be adapted to heat bathroom, tile, and even hardwood floor areas.

The system eliminates the need for costly and potentially dangerous space heaters. As heat rises, having heated floors yields effective warmth for large areas, particularly in winter months. An added benefit is the heated system dries floor mats, rugs and carpets. When floors are cold, people feel chilled even when the air temperatures are comfortable. Since normal heating systems do little or nothing to warm floors, these radiant heat floor packages provide effective warmth while lowering energy costs.

The Martinson-Nicholls Speed Heat System is available for both under carpet and area rug installations. For long areas, the Danfoss heating system is preferred.

(PRWEB) June 11, 2008

Underfloor heating specialists, Floor Heating Ltd, are pleased to present an advanced postcode checker facility, for their online shop, which is an initiative to streamline the online shopping process, in the underfloor heating product range. The new feature can be seen at:

http://www.floorheating.ltd.uk/online-shop.php

Underfloor heating systems, owing to their benefits, are currently a popular choice with UK households and industrial setups. This implies consistent demand of the entire product line and components like tile fixing products.

To assist online customers to purchase all their underfloor heating requirements from one site, instead of buying underfloor heating components from local vendors, Floor Heating Ltd has added a postcode checker facility to their ecommerce web portal. Firstly a product basket is created, followed by a selection of the postcode for the delivery address. The weight of heavier products requiring palletising is calculated, and the delivery charges are based upon the pallet weight and delivery postcode. Shoppers also have the flexibility to select a complete pallet of heavy goods, along with a suitable delivery date.

Floor Heating Ltd Add Cablewarm Underfloor Heating Mats to their Product Range

(PRWEB) January 7, 2008

The specialist online retailer of underfloor heating, www.FloorHeating.ltd.uk are proud to announce the recent addition of the Cablewarm® brand of high output heating mats to their already extensive range of underfloor heating products. Cablewarm® underfloor heating mats have been added to meet the growing demand for a high output heating mat suitable for areas of high heat loss such as conservatories or where no additional insulation is being installed over a concrete sub-floor.

As Paul Short, Floor Heating company MD says, “We have been selling our standard output heating mats extremely successfully for the past 4 years, gaining thousands of very happy customers as a result. However, we have felt for quite some time that there is a strong demand for a higher output heating mat more suitable for areas of high heat loss like conservatories or where no insulation can be fitted over a concrete sub-floor; both types of installation require a higher heat output to compensate”.

Floor Heating Ltd already offer one of the highest output (160W/m2) heating mats suitable for the majority of underfloor heating applications. However there was clearly a demand for a high output (200W/m2) heating mat suitable for areas of high heat loss.

The addition of the Cablewarm® brand has met this demand. Cablewarm® underfloor heating mats are manufactured from twin conductor, 3.5mm thin profile, earth braided and double insulated cable and are attached to a 500 mm wide, open weave mat backing at 55 mm centres to produce a high output of 200 watts per square metre (200W/m2). Mats come in rolls with a coverage of 5.0m2 – 20.0m2.

By adding Cablewarm® underfloor heating mats to their product range, customers can now enjoy the beauty and practicality of warm tiles in conservatories. There’s also the added benefit of heating without radiators or freestanding heaters.
